There is no larger honor than someone taking the time to draw your own personal characters in their style!

Over the years I have received so much great fan art, I finally have created a page for all to see! The link can be found in the top menu bar along with the other website pages.

I’m always thrilled to receive fan art, so if you send it along to me I will add it to the page! You can post it on Twitter or Instagram and tag me, or you can send it to Dana(at)DanaAtnip.com

Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to send me fan art, I appreciate you so much! I also always do my best to reciprocate (though in honesty I am much better at drawing animals/critters than drawing people, so if you have a human OC I really don’t want to butcher it, lol)

I am at this time learning the software that I need to put my book together, stay tuned! I will post updates to Twitter (@GalacticDragons) and Instagram (@DanaAtnipArt). When the book is complete is when you will see new comics. I’m shooting for summer, but please don’t quote me on that.

Taking a Break!

The above cartoon was created years ago as a thank-you when you followed GD on Tapastic, I had forgotten about it! The vaccine comment has a whole new meaning now, doesn’t it? I believe I made this in 2016 or close to that.

With my latest comic post I announced that I am taking a leave from Galactic Dragons, and I can’t say for how long, but it will be many months.

My personal life and work have just been too much for me to keep up with a weekly comic; I know I only post 1 comic a week but I spend hours on each comic, and I’m not getting paid for it. I don’t mean to be a Grinch but I need to focus on projects that will be bringing in an income or sorts.
I chose not to do Patreon because I was worried that I wouldn’t have the time for the extra rewards, so what would be the point of following me?

My new goal is to finally make a GD book, and with that I have to learn new software and how to put it all together. I have also been considering a Kickstarter, but haven’t made up my mind if I will go that route. Once the book is done, I will release all new GD comics, but I can’t say for how long.

Michigan Comic Con August 2019

I’m very happy to be tabling for the first time at Michigan Comic Con at the Cobo Center, downtown Detroit, MI August 16-18!

This will be the second year for this show, and if it’s anything like the first (which I attended as a patron last year), then this will be another amazing show!

There are a ton of great artists and guests, so if you’re in the area, be sure to check out this year’s show! I don’t have a table number assigned as of yet, but I will post it on my social media pages as soon as I know!
