#269 Sealed With A Kiss

Comic for February 15, 2023

I assume the younger generations are not familiar with the acronym, “SWAK”, or Sealed With a Kiss. This was a term often used back before everything went digital, when everyone sent letters in envelopes. If it was to a loved one or sweetheart, you could write SWAK on it for an extra loving touch. I’m old, haha! And Azimuth has his dream come true. 🙂

Sooooo…this is going to be my last comic for awhile. I had hoped to do 15 new comics, but I’ve been swamped with other projects and getting prepared for comic con season. And with my software being buggy too, I figured this was a good place to stop for now.

I’m hoping later in the year to have more comics, maybe in late fall, when by then I’ll hopefully also have Galactic Dragons Vol 2 complete. I have contemplated a Kickstarter for it, but haven’t decided yet. But there will be new comics and some new adventures to come, but no date set in stone.

Great Lakes Comic Con Feb 24-25 2023!

I’ll be at the Great Lakes Comic Con February 24-25, 2023 for my first show in 3 years (since before Covid)!
I’m excited to be tabling again and be around the comic con vibe, I’ve missed it! If you’re in the area, stop by and say hello!

I’m so happy and excited to finally be able to present the first book in the Galactic Dragons series: Galactic Dragons, Volume 1!

 

A 128 page paperback that features over 100 comics, as well as some never before seen comics, fun facts, and illustrations! I also was thrilled and honored to have the foreword written by the amazing and talented Steve Ogden! You can check out his comics and social media through his Linktree HERE.

Aw yeah, Fan Art!

There is no larger honor than someone taking the time to draw your own personal characters in their style!

Over the years I have received so much great fan art, I finally have created a page for all to see! The link can be found in the top menu bar along with the other website pages.

Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to send me fan art, I appreciate you so much! I also always do my best to reciprocate (though in honesty I am much better at drawing animals/critters than drawing people, so if you have a human OC I really don’t want to butcher it, lol)

I am at this time learning the software that I need to put my book together, stay tuned! I will post updates to Twitter (@GalacticDragons) and Instagram (@DanaAtnipArt). When the book is complete is when you will see new comics. I’m shooting for summer, but please don’t quote me on that.
