Who would have thunk that Ion’s mix of herbs from his home planet would be the cure that the Lycadian’s needed! To be fair, it’s his mom’s concoction, not Ion’s. Yet T-Bone still is unimpressed. In Tee’s defense though, it could have gone a whole different way (and it almost did!). Also a little nod to the band, The Cure. 😉
Hope you all had a nice Labor Day! I’m so happy for cooler weather, it’s so nice to be able to work without sweating! Bring on the pumpkin spice!
Looks like Ion is the hero of this story and T-Bone might just be a little jealous.
A little jealous, but he’s also a bit right! Ion should know better than to give medicinal herbs to another species (but it IS Ion, after all!) Thanks, Howard! 🙂
Panel 3 really fills in a large missing piece of the lore. Given how serious Maxton’s death was portrayed, I thought that death would ???????? stick!
I guess Pontifex thanking Ion would have ended up biting Pontifex in the rear.
Thanks Casanova! I was surprised that a lot of people didn’t see that coming. I guess I’m the jaded one; whenever someone dies in a movie or book, I’m thinking, “Hmm, I wonder if they’re really dead”. I guess I’ve seen too many movies and read too many comics, lol! 🙂
