#269 Sealed With A Kiss
Comic for February 15, 2023
I assume the younger generations are not familiar with the acronym, “SWAK”, or Sealed With a Kiss. This was a term often used back before everything went digital, when everyone sent letters in envelopes. If it was to a loved one or sweetheart, you could write SWAK on it for an extra loving touch. I’m old, haha! And Azimuth has his dream come true. 🙂
Sooooo…this is going to be my last comic for awhile. I had hoped to do 15 new comics, but I’ve been swamped with other projects and getting prepared for comic con season. And with my software being buggy too, I figured this was a good place to stop for now.
I’m hoping later in the year to have more comics, maybe in late fall, when by then I’ll hopefully also have Galactic Dragons Vol 2 complete. I have contemplated a Kickstarter for it, but haven’t decided yet. But there will be new comics and some new adventures to come, but no date set in stone.
THANK YOU to those who always stop to read and comment, it means so much to me, I appreciate you all so much!
If you haven’t picked up Galactic Dragons Vol 1 yet, you can do so HERE. If you choose to purchase it from Amazon, if you could give it a good rating I would be be so appreciative! Until later, my friends! You can follow me on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook for any updates, and here of course for latest comic con or related info! Love to you all! 🙂
Dana
Looks like Azimuth had a pretty good Valentine’s Day!
I will miss seeing your cartoon over the next several months. Best of luck on your other projects and hope that those software bugs are banished for good.
Thank you Howard, I really appreciate your comments and support! 🙂
I do remember ‘swak’! And I shall patiently await your return!
I will miss the comic. Well, mine comic has dragons too, so those who want to have dragons in their lives can, but your sense of humor is always spot-on, Dana. Can’t wait for the new chapter for the crew of Tempest!
I miss this comic so much…
Hi D.G, I’m sorry for the late reply. Thanks so much for your comment; it makes me happy that people care about GD but sad that I’ve been gone so long. Right now I still have to focus on projects that pay, which is why GD unfortunately keeps going to the backburner. I do plan to come back with more comics when book 2 comes out, but until then, I’m sorry for the wait! Take care, friend.
It’s okay. Life takes precedence. You’ll be back when you’re ready.
Those comics remind me of my drawing of five dragons that I drew in my notebook. One is an eastern dragon that’s based on our sun! The other four are small western dragons that are based on the four rocky terrestrial planets of our inner solar system:
Mercury (He wears an aviator helmet and a scarf), Venus (She wears a heart-shaped pendant and looks at herself in a mirror), Earth (She wears a pouch with a pencil in there), and Mars (He wears a bushido helmet and holds a sword)
Interesting. Perhaps you should make it into a comic? We need more space dragon comics, not less. Especially in the coming years.
