The above cartoon was created years ago as a thank-you when you followed GD on Tapastic, I had forgotten about it! The vaccine comment has a whole new meaning now, doesn’t it? I believe I made this in 2016 or close to that.
With my latest comic post I announced that I am taking a leave from Galactic Dragons, and I can’t say for how long, but it will be many months.
My personal life and work have just been too much for me to keep up with a weekly comic; I know I only post 1 comic a week but I spend hours on each comic, and I’m not getting paid for it. I don’t mean to be a Grinch but I need to focus on projects that will be bringing in an income or sorts.
I chose not to do Patreon because I was worried that I wouldn’t have the time for the extra rewards, so what would be the point of following me?
My new goal is to finally make a GD book, and with that I have to learn new software and how to put it all together. I have also been considering a Kickstarter, but haven’t made up my mind if I will go that route. Once the book is done, I will release all new GD comics, but I can’t say for how long.
In the meantime, feel free to re-read the archives or reach out to me via my contact form or via Twitter (@galacticdragons) or Instagram (@danaatnip_art) if you have any questions.
Thank you all for reading and for your support, it means so much!

Um… supporting a great artist?
Aw, thanks Sam! You’re right, I probably should have done it; that ship set sail now tho.
