Awhile back I had written a short series of Aurora’s backstory, which has been condensed into this one strip.
She comes from a wealthy, influential family, and she was facing an arranged marriage. To escape that fate, she secretly enlisted in the Mighty Dragon Fleet. While it was just a form of escapism at the time, she realized she had found her calling.
And on a smaller note, Thew will be spending the next six months drinking tea and reading philosophy out in nature, pulling a Henry David Thoreau. to decompress from the mission, lol.
I must have missed the strip with Aurora’s backstory. Joining up to avoid an arranged marriage is certainly an effective way to escape an overbearing family.

That’s kinda true. What point is all that money when there are so many hoops you have to jump thru and NDA’s you have to sign in order to get access to the money?
