Comic for February 24, 2016
Who would have guessed that T-Bone would have any scruples at all??
I borrowed a page from Berkeley Breathed’s book for this one; many of his latest comics will have an object or two in color to make them stand out more or to better reveal the gag, and I felt that worked well here too.
You’ll also be surprised to discover that dragons apparently have “pockets” in their hides. 🙂
And yes, the Deadpool movie was awesome! Don’t bring any rug rats along, it’s rated R.
Wade’s friend, the guy that played Weasel…I kept thinking, “I KNOW that guy’s voice…” Then it hit me: “Tuffnut! From ‘How to Train Your Dragon’!” Luckily I only said it in my head.
There are limits! 🙂
Even for T-Bone, who would have thunk? 😀
I was disappointed that there was a family of five in my showing of Deadpool on Monday night. At least two of the kids were middle school age, but there was a 5 year old with them too. Not only was the rating bad enough, but the kid talked during most of the movie.
American parents? I wouldn’t be surprised. Been around the world a couple of times and my experience tells me that you only get that in the USA. Maybe a couple of times in the UK, but I haven’t had to put up with that anywhere else.
Bret: ugh, sad to hear that somebody actually did bring a five year old to see that movie! What kind of questions would he be asking his parents?
When I saw Jurassic World, the people next to us had a baby who was maybe 3-4 months old (and at an evening showing). Luckily the roars of the dinosaurs drowned out the cries of the baby.
Bruno is a Deadpool deadbeat! Love Sputnik’s li’l Deadpool!
Yes, Bruno did go back on his promise to Tee. This strip starts to show the age and maturity difference between him and T-Bone.
And yes, Sputnik makes a cute lil’ Deadpool, doesn’t he? 🙂
The cutest!
