#234 Soul Train
Comic for November 18, 2020
Shout out to those of my generation, or near my generation, who remembers Soul Train! What a great show!
And who would have thunk, T-Bone has a soul after all, haha! Of course he does; he’s a rascal but his heart WILL break if he sees a hatchling crying over his deceased parents. And I hope I raised him a notch or two in people’s opinions; he’s not such a bad guy after all! But shhhh, he doesn’t want everyone to know that! 😉
The little baby dragon is not to be a regular, and too bad; I really liked how he turned out!
I have to admit that this is one of my favorite comics that I’ve created in GD thus far. Most cartoonists will tell you that their final comic was never quite how they had pictured it in their head. Yet this one not only was how I pictured it, but even exceeded my expectations on how it turned out! I hope you enjoy it too! Thanks for your patience!
T-Bone probably really hates it that Aurora caught him in an act of kindness like that.
The cartoon was well worth the wait! The coloring and shading are outstanding!
Thanks so much, Howard! T-Bone likes to keep up his tough and cool image; doesn’t want to be seen as a softy, but I feel he’s not quite THAT upset! 🙂
T-Bone sure pulled his foot out of his mouth by telling the baby dragon he ranks up as a hero who would have thought T-Bone to be so compassionate ?
T-Bone did some quick thinking there to soothe the hatchling. Who would have thought he’d have it in him? Thank you for the comment, Jerome! 🙂
Was worth waiting for, that’s for sure.
I really like this strip.
Thank you, Archae, that means a lot! And thank you for the comment! 🙂
Yeah, the jerky would have been rather out of place for this strip.
On the other hand, I do like Aurora’s “What the heck did I just witness?” look in panel 7. ?
